Caramel Apple Pork Chops

 Ingredients:  

  • 4 Center cut pork loin chops-3/4 inch cut
  • 3 Tbsp  Rub House No. 17 Wild Hog
  • 2 Tbsp butter-unsalted
  • 2 Granny Smith apples- peeled, cored, and sliced
  • ¼ Cup golden raisins
  • 2 Tbsp Light Brown Sugar


Instructions:  

  1. Preheat oven to 200F.   Preheat grill to Medium heat.
  2. Season Pork Chops with Rub House No. 17 Wild Hog
  3. Place chops on preheated grill. Cook pork chops about 2-3 minutes per side, or until almost 130 internal temp. Place chops in baking dish and cover, and place in 200F oven 4-5mins or to 140internal temp.
  4. In a skillet, melt 2 Tbsp butter. Add apples, brown sugar, raisins, and Apple Pie Spice. Cover, and cook until apples are soft, stirring frequently.
  5. When apples are softened, remove from pan and reduce sauce until slightly thickened. Add apples back to sauce.
  6. Remove pork chops from oven. Spoon caramel apple mixture over pork chops or add the Chops right back into the finished pan, Rest & Serve!


Honey Balsamic Pork Chops

 Ingredients:  

  • 1 Tbsp olive oil
  • 3 Tbsp butter, divided
  • 1 Lb. pork chops (we used center cut, bone in)
  • 2 Scallions, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 2 Tbsp of Rub Höuse No.9 Memphis Blend
  • 1/4 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 2 Tbsp Dijon mustard 


Instructions: 

 

  1. Season pork chops with Rub House No.9 Memphis Blend. In a skillet over medium-high heat, add 1 tbsp butter and 1 tbsp olive oil. Add pork chops to pan and cook for 3 minutes on each side. Remove chops from heat and set aside.
  2. Add 1 tbsp butter to skillet along with the scallions, garlic and herbs. Cook for 2 minutes on medium heat.
  3. Add 1 tbsp butter to skillet. Stir in vinegar, and honey and cook until well incorporated. Add 2tbsp of Dijon mustard. Taste the sauce and add salt as needed to taste.
  4. Add pork chops back into pan add more Rub House No.9 Memphis on top and cover with sauce and heat them up 3-4 mins and don't over cook the Chops!
  5. Plate and garnish with additional scallions.
